jackclock is a puredata external, enabling jack transport in pd patches. This allows for playhead synchronization with other jack transport enabled applications like ardour, Hydrogen and rosegarden. In addition the jack freewheel mode allows for "faster than real-time" and can be used for exporting audio and/or data files. The example provided in the source code records a 100 seconds long sound file as fast as the CPU can, but notice however that sound card IOs are disabled when freewheel mode is enabled. jackclock has been developed in the context of the open orchestra project.

nstream~ is a puredata external for multichannel uncompressed audio streaming over UDP for low latency transmissions. nstream~ and nsreceive~ parameters can be dynamically configured. Fixed point data and multicast are supported. nstream~ has been developed as part of the audioscape project and is also distributed with the pdsheefa library.
